About Department of Cyber Security

Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (AITAM) established the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security) in 2025. The B.Tech CSE (Cyber Security) program was introduced in the academic year 2024–25 with an initial intake of 60 students.

The primary objective of this program is to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in securing computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The program focuses on building strong foundations in computer science along with specialized expertise in cyber security domains such as network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and information assurance.

Cyber Security is a rapidly growing field due to the increasing reliance on digital systems and the rising number of cyber threats across industries. This program enables students to understand security vulnerabilities, analyze risks, and design robust solutions to protect sensitive information and critical infrastructures. Students are trained to apply security principles using modern tools and technologies to safeguard systems against unauthorized access, attacks, and data breaches.

The curriculum is carefully designed to cover core areas including programming, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, database management systems, along with advanced topics such as cyber security fundamentals, cryptography, ethical hacking, penetration testing, blockchain security, cloud security, and digital forensics.
